My Classroom, Episode #4: Embracing Change
NGPF’s My Classroom is a 10-15 minute weekly podcast series that will follow the lives and classrooms of four rock star teachers and NGPF Fellows. Each teacher is from a different area of the country, a different type of school, and currently teaching in a different environment (virtual, face-to-face, hybrid) but are determined to make their learning environment as great as it can be during COVID.
In Episode #4, Kerri, Tony, Courtney, and Julius share specific tools and techniques they are using to engage students in the classroom. All of them are embracing the change this unique school year has brought and all of them mention Nearpod as a tool that has increased student engagement while teaching in a remote or blended environment. We will focus on Courtney who, of all four teachers, has the most unique teaching schedule but accepts the challenge and continues to have a positive attitude and inspiring outlook.
