Teacher Tip: COMPARE: Types of Investment Funds

In case you missed it, NGPF Teacher Tip videos are getting an update! This week, we spotlight the activity COMPARE: Types of Investment Funds. This activity has students compare mutual funds, index funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and target date funds (TDFs) through student-led instruction. Students will conduct research on these funds and present their findings to the class. 

In this Teacher Tip video, Amanda Volz will guide you through the activity and provide tips on how you can successfully implement this activity in your classroom 

 


What are Teacher Tip videos? 

Teacher Tip videos are short videos exploring a range of NGPF activities through the eyes of veteran personal finance teacher and NGPF super user, Amanda Volz. Teacher Tip videos are designed to guide teachers through the activity and offer tips, tricks, and ideas for implementing the activity in the classroom.
