Happy Valentine's Day: Personal Finance websites and resources we love
Hat tip to Planet Money who gives out Valentines every year to the sites and resources they love.
We thought this would be a great opportunity to do the same by canvassing the NGPF staff to share websites, podcasts, and resources that they love. Here it goes:
Websites and Resources
- Bogleheads Wiki! (with an exclamation point from Ren)
- Health Insurance: State health insurance guides (had to be Jessica!)
- The Decision Lab which is chock-full of behavioral economics resources (Christian)
- Wealth 101 infographics on Visual Capitalist (Tim)
Podcasts
- This is Uncomfortable Podcast (Yanely)
- Business Wars (Tori)
- Financial Feminist (Hannah)
- SO Money with Farnoosh Torabi (Dan)
- Nerd Wallet's Smart Money Podcast (Dave)
- Planet Money podcast and Planet Money Plus (Rita and Eugenie)
Thank you to all of these website resources and podcasts!

About the Author
Tim Ranzetta
Tim's saving habits started at seven when a neighbor with a broken hip gave him a dog walking job. Her recovery, which took almost a year, resulted in Tim getting to know the bank tellers quite well (and accumulating a savings account balance of over $300!). His recent entrepreneurial adventures have included driving a shredding truck, analyzing executive compensation packages for Fortune 500 companies and helping families make better college financing decisions. After volunteering in 2010 to create and teach a personal finance program at Eastside College Prep in East Palo Alto, Tim saw firsthand the impact of an engaging and activity-based curriculum, which inspired him to start a new non-profit, Next Gen Personal Finance.
